Global Logistics Coordinator

The Global Logistics Coordinator Supports the day-to-day operation of all aspects of logistics including distribution, freight audit, analytics, and fulfillment.

Responsibilities/Unique Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities

  • Helps identify cost savings and efficiencies through third-party vendor (Trax) audit platform. Serves as the key point-person in relationship with Trax. Manages invoice exceptions through the Trax system. Collaborates with internal groups (Accounts Payable, Finance, Business Units) to maximize freight audit analytics
  • Engages with vendors through QBR scheduling, communication, and supporting procurement activities as needed
  • Runs reports from SAP and uses reports to answer questions and make recommendations for solutions to various scenarios
  • Prepare and process carrier required documentation. Documents freight claims and partners with carriers for a resolution
  • Provides tactical support to the logistics team to support the execution against LRP goals. Helps enforce integrated processed amongst internal partners. Helps resolve issues concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and/or customer issued

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business with a focus in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Work, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced mathematical skills and statistical knowledge
  • Basic analytical skills and ability
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Infor Nexus preferred
  • Problem solving and planning skills
  • Transportation management system (TMS) knowledge preferred

Travel Required

  • Up to 10% of work time will be travel
