US Customs and Border Protection continues to show elevated activities regarding the scheduling of 2023 CTPAT validations for member of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism as travel bans experienced over the past two years have been lifted.

2023 validations are returning to the in person onsite process as a preferred option with virtual validations remaining a possibility depending on domestic vs foreign, country, region and health and safety concerns. It is important for CTPAT members to prepare for the CTPAT validation meeting to demonstrate the examples of evidence of implemented practices associated with the programs minimum security criteria.
